I have a 6 year old Pug and she has never been sick up to date on her shots and we took her to the vet on March 9th to get her Bordatella vaccine since she will be spayed on the 31st. For the past 4 days she has done reverse sneezing constantly then yesterday it rolled over into a bad cough (sounds kinda like croup in humans) and spits up a white foam. I am taking in to the vet today but I was just wondering if it is possible she caught it right before she got her vaccine. Also we have a 12 week old pug puppy who hadn’t got her bordatella yet because she is playing catch up on her other shots. Will this effect her?
To answer your question all the vets here require it before getting spayed or neutered because they keep them overnight.
