I wanted a bit of advice.
I took my 3 month old puppy to the vet today and she has kennel cough. The vet told me it was very common for dogs that come from shelters (I adopted her from the humane society). She gave me some antibiotics ti help her pass it through. I did tell her I had another dog at home but she told me to just keep them separated.
My other dog is a 5 year old siberian husky. He has his bordetella vaccine about a month ago. I was wondering if from experience anyone knew how much it would protect him from catching as well? What else can I do besides keeping them apart? I feel that since the puppy and my dog are always in the house, he’s bound to catch it.
Any other advice?
Perhaps a spray to kill airborne bacteria?

Thanks in advance.
