Callie’s Puppies Week 6

Today the puppies will receive their first puppy shots to vaccinate them against harmful infections such as Parvo, distemper, kennel cough, etc. These vaccinations do NOT prevent the puppy from contracting a disease. They only aid the puppy to build antibodies against it. Puppies need to be vaccinated once every 2-4 weeks until they reach adult hood. Booster shots are recommended after that. Before receiving their vaccinations however, the puppies will be de-wormed right before lunch time. I don’t want to overload their system so vaccinating will be done this evening after they’ve had time to digest everything very well.
