Why is my dog dry heaving?

My dog was in a kennel for 11 days but is not (from what I know) showing kennel cough symptoms. She started dry heaving last night & was again this morning but no other symptoms at all. I’m tempted to just ride it out but I don’t know if this is ok?

24 hours is the max i would leave it if she is able to drink and eat. if she can’t do this see a vet now as she may have a foreign body stuck.
you can check the back of her throat but lower down needs the right equipment.
Like the last person said, she might have something stuck in her throat somewhere. Try feeding her some bread and give her lots of water. When my dog is dry heaving she usually throws up a chunk of stuff afterwards but I guess there probably something solid in your dog.
Place a call to your vet’s office. It may be nothing to be concerned about but your vet will know better.
