I think she may have it. She has an appointment with the Vet tomorrow afternoon. Will she be OK until then? How dangerous is it?

Its not that dangerous.
yeah im sure she will be okay..they can get it from being in a confined area toooo long… but yes my dog had it when she was i the pound…she just had to take medicine…dogs can die from it but o nly worst case..yours wont dont be scared. they vet will gove u medicine and everything will be okay. good luck =]
It is caused by the Bordetella virus and your dog can be vaccinated for this once she is better. They get from coming in contact with another dog carrying the virus. In the case of a poodle, probably the groomers….
i have 3 dogs and one day when we collected them from the Kennels one of them had a cough and was very quiet we finally decided to take her to the vet and they diagnosed her with it. they gave her antibiotics and said that she would be fine in a few days and she was. Your dog will be absolutely fine even if you weren’t taking her tomorrow. the only thing about it is that if you have any other dogs they will probably get it as well as we were told that its contagious.
your dog will be fine, don’t worry.
You’re dog will be fine……KC is easily treated. But *please* do not vaccinate your dog against it. Having had the disease, your dog is now immune against that strain….since most KC vaccinations don’t cover many strains at all.
She will be fine until tomorrow. Clinical signs are a temperature, dog being lethargic, and the very obvious cough which is harsh and loud…….once heard, never forgotten.
