My dog has a cough, and I think it is because of the vaccines?
About a week or so ago we had to take my dog to the vet for ear surgery. Anyway, they required he get all of his vaccines for Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, as well as Kennel Cough. Well here we are a week later and he seems to have developed symptoms close to Kennel cough.
He keeps coughing and then sometimes he spits up white phlegm. My mom said he threw up his food earlier, and he was having diarrhea but that seems to have stopped.
We are going to take him to the vet, but I was wondering has your dog had an allergic reaction or developed symptoms of a disease from a vaccine?

The symptoms you describe sound like Bordetella, a type of kennel cough. The vaccines wouldn’t cause it; so much as doing the shots the same day the dog goes into the kennel doesn’t allow enough time for the dog to develop an effective immune defense.
Ring the vet.
