Aww poor little pup. The vet thinks my dog has Valley Fever but if she does it’s the disseminated kind. She doesn’t cough at all but it’s harder to treat. This is an old video, how is your dog doing by now?
My greyhound has Valley Fever and is coughing exactly like this – and has been even pre diagnosis, she does it less with her meds now everyday but has started coughing more recently…now wondering if she has fluid in her lungs or what the coughing may indicate. What did you find out about your dog’s coughing?
It sounds like a train!
It might be Kennel Cough. It’s also called Bordetella. I’m not sure whether my dog has it but it sounds a lot alike. If your dog is old or young, its really hard to fight it off and it can result in pneumonia. That’s why I’ve been up since 2 in the morning. My dog’s been spitting up phlegm. My mom is taking her to the vet in the morning. Also, Bordetella is really contagious and you don’t have to get it from kenneling your dog. It’s an airborne virus. Get a vaccine. Hope for the best.
is this a Bichon?

Yes he is a Bichon, or at least some sort of Bichon/Poodle mix. He is actually doing much better and rarely coughs. Pretty good for a dog that is estimated to be almost 13 years old
