Dog tired and coughing after vaccine?

My dog was vaccinated yesterday for rabies and kennel cough. Today he woke up coughing, but this seems to have subsided. Now he seems very tired. I assume this is normal with vaccines and nothing to worry about. Is it?

When my dog go his rabies shot he wasnt coughing.. he was tired though
i forgot what the vet told me butt Its probebly normal..

Yes it is normal. A vaccine is a dead or weak pathogen that is injected into the body to simulate a attack. (from a virus) Your dogs body is still reacting to the pathogens of rabies and kennel cough. When your dog’s body learns how to create the antibodies to kill the pathogens, your dog will become immune to the disease. Your dog will return to its normal self after a few days.
